Northwest Yearly Meeting Annual Sessions 2015

Northwest Yearly Meeting 2015
Annual Sessions, Newberg, OR, July 19-23

Northwest Yearly Meeting gathers for an Annual Session each year in July on the George Fox University Campus in Newberg, Oregon. These Meetings are the annual business sessions of Northwest Yearly Meeting, which is made up of 62 Friends Churches in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Yearly Meeting will include Worship, Workshops, Meetings for Business, Board Meetings, plus a variety of opportunities to meet and spend time with new Friends. Everyone is invited to attend Yearly Meeting. Registration information is available here.

Each evening we gather for worship in Bauman Auditorium. Sunday evening, our Superintendent, Becky Ankeny will bring the keynote message. Monday through Wednesday evenings, Ken Redford will bring messages around the theme of “Holding God’s Hand.” Ken is the pastor of Meridian Friends Church in Idaho. Thursday evening the Yearly Meeting annual sessions conclude with a Celebration Banquet.

“Holding God’s Hand” is drawn from Isaiah 41:13 which reads, “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, ‘Do not fear; I will help you.’”
